Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your SnoozeWar account and the personal data associated with it. You can do this yourself inside the app, or request it by email if you can no longer access the app.
1. Delete your account in the app
The fastest way — your account and data are deleted immediately:
- Open the SnoozeWar app.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm on the "Delete account?" prompt.
This permanently deletes your account and your data and cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app (for example, you've lost the device or uninstalled it), email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Email privacy@snoozewar.com from the email address associated with your account (or include the phone number you signed up with), with the subject "Delete my account".
- We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it, to protect you from someone else requesting deletion on your behalf.
- We will delete your personal data within 30 days of verifying your request.
3. What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes the personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your account information (name, email address and/or phone number).
- Your sleep, wake, and chronotype data.
- Your screen-time and app-usage insights.
- Your alarms, reminders, plans, streaks, and in-app preferences.
Data stored on your device is also removed when you delete your account from within the app.
4. What may be retained
- Anonymized data: we may keep aggregated, anonymized information that can no longer be linked to you, for analytics and product improvement.
- Legal obligations: we may retain limited data where required by law, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, for only as long as necessary.
